CCS Directory Poster

BulletinPhoto2
Last year CCS acquired an old post office building. It has been recently renovated and currently houses the school's renown library, a classroom, several offices, and a gorgeously accommodating alumni studio, where I work (though not for the last few months since I have been at my home studio on my computer coloring various projects including the poster I'm about to talk about).
An enormous frame was found in the basement of the building and restored to its original luster. So as a sort of directory for the various offices and studios in the building I designed this poster:

This thing is enormous. Roughly 3 feet by 4.25 (fire extinguisher included in the photo for scale).
This version includes a banner along the bottom, with a listing of who is on each floor (you probably can't see it in the photo, but there is a typo. Shut up. We've fixed it and are reprinting the poster).

I drew the original art a little bit smaller than print size. I included a pen in the photo, to show scale, but that wasn't the pen I drew it with. I drew it with a Zebra brush pen, and a Pentel pocket brush for the dry brushed clouds. All the color and texture was done in photoshop.

We also made a version with the floor listings gone and CCS's name all up in there.

The lettering was inked with the Zebra brush pen too.
