These are some character studies. The horizontal drawings of a building are from a comic I abandoned a year or two ago. The grumpy little boy sketches are new.

His new book, Monsters (the above image is the cover) will debut in a few short weeks at the Small Press Expo 09! And afterwards Gabby, joined by the lovely cartoonists Liz Baillie and MK Reed, will embark on a book tour.
Monsters is the "happy funtime 208-page cartoon train wreck about a SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE", collecting the first three issues of the award-winning self-published mini-comic with about two more issues worth of new material, completing the "Herpes Epic." Published by Secret Acres.
Also, my buddy Dustin Harbin (the above image is by him. Copyright and rights reserved and all that) just finished another short-comic-meditation in his totally awesome Fun With Autobiography series, updated (for the most part) every Monday. He definitely knows his comics-stuff and it's fun to watch him experiment with different narrative techniques. And his color is always great.
