Just got back from a trip to NY. Amtrack from WRJ, Vermont to Penn Station is about 8 hours so I had plenty of time to break in my new sketchbook (above) with a few pages of thumbnails.
It's hard to tell from the photos, but the paper is a cream/yellow cover stock. The first page in the first signature (the page on the left in the photo above) is glued directly to the cover, which is a piece of heavy cardboard wrapped in a grocery bag.
These color ball-point pens that I have been using are very helpful with keeping the information organized and clean.
